Making Words Mat for File Folders
I LOVE finding a use for file folders so the students can take the activity to their desks. So I created these making words file folders for each student. I can use them in group lesson or a whole class lesson. The students are able to use them during free time too. I print out the letters on card stock and laminate. I put little squares of Velcro on the back of each letter. I print out the two making words sheets on whole page labels so I can just peel and stick on the file folder. I do laminate each file folder so they will last. I then put Velcro in each of the blank squares. On the other side of the file folder I place strips of Velcro where the letters will be placed for the kids to be able to see.
