Primary Flynn

Where did the time go?  I cannot believe another school year has come and go and it's summer again.  I say this every year.  I don't know how some teachers keep up their blogs as I just couldn't.  This year was especially busy as I was helping out in the office once a week, our principal was retiring so we were getting things made, working on surprises plus teaching!!!  I am excited to put some final touches on some new things I created for the classroom this year that I felt really helped my students with their sight words.   I am also a Google Level One Educator!!   I am currently studying the units so I can take the exam to become a Google Level Two Educator.  My school has really put a tremendous effort in to bringing in technology and using it properly for the students.  I used some great apps in the classroom and am excited to share those with you.  I am a Samsung user (android) and it was really exciting to see my students...

Happy New Year to everyone!  I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful night.  I can and can't believe my last post was in November.  We are only in school a few weeks in December but it is such a busy time for all teachers.  I normally don't make New Year's Resolutions but one that I will make is that my Friday desk project will be back on as I am excited to be using my new Samsung camera that I received for Christmas!!! Now I hope my pictures I take of the classroom and the things I would like to share come out a little better.  Of course, I have to figure out how to use it now!! I know a lot of teachers have iPads in their classroom but last year my brother and father bought me the Samsung Note 10.1 tablet which I LOVE!!!  And one more resolution is that I will be incorporating this more into my daily life in the classroom.  The s-pen is pure genius!!!  I use my tablet at all my meetings now to take all my notes but haven't truly utilize...
