Welcome 2014

Happy New Year to everyone!  I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful night.  I can and can't believe my last post was in November.  We are only in school a few weeks in December but it is such a busy time for all teachers.  I normally don't make New Year's Resolutions but one that I will make is that my Friday desk project will be back on as I am excited to be using my new Samsung camera that I received for Christmas!!!

Now I hope my pictures I take of the classroom and the things I would like to share come out a little better.  Of course, I have to figure out how to use it now!!

I know a lot of teachers have iPads in their classroom but last year my brother and father bought me the Samsung Note 10.1 tablet which I LOVE!!!  And one more resolution is that I will be incorporating this more into my daily life in the classroom.  The s-pen is pure genius!!!  I use my tablet at all my meetings now to take all my notes but haven't truly utilized it in the classroom to its fullest.  But I have been putting different apps on it for my guided reading so I will keep you posted.

What I do love about my Samsung tablet is that it does have an SD slot and I can put different documents on there and edit them right then and there or write on them with the S-pen.

Here are a few short videos that show the potential of my tablet but really with any tablet and what could really happen when we invest in our students and move with the times...

Wouldn't it be nice?

Enjoy!!

Kemble :-)

PS - I should add I just like the Samsung brand...I do not get paid...I just really love my Note 10.1 tablet and kept with the brand for my camera.
