Happy Summer!
I cannot believe how fast this past school year has gone. I was barely on this blog as I had switched schools and I feel like one of my little primaries starting big school...I'm not to sure how things are done and where things are so this year was a year of learning about all the great things my new school does. Our winter was brutal and didn't really start until January and then boy did it hit us and kept hitting us. Here are a few pictures from a storm we had that basically shut the city down for a few days.
I had an incredible year with an incredible staff. I LOVED my classroom space. Here are some pictures from last August when I went in to set up the classroom.

And as every teacher knows, the end of the year is pack your classroom up once again. This year I found it much easier as I had the storage closet to put stuff in and my classroom came with good storage space so so I could put things away ready to unpack for August.
I loved this cabinet that came with the classroom. I was able to keep my leveled books in their basket and put them underneath this cabinet. I just have to pull them out in August and they are ready to go!
Summer seems the time for me to create new Teachers Pay Teachers items that I wanted to create during the school year but just didn't have the time (I also took up knitting again so that ate into my time too). I am currently creating something new for the new Nova Scotia streamlined curriculum. I also was able to use my mimio this year as my classroom had an LCD hanging from the ceiling and boy, did that change everything for me and my students. I am currently working on creating things for the mimio too. So I hope everyone is having a great summer so far and keep watching for updates on some of my new TPT creations.
Enjoy!
Kemble :-)
PS - We did butterflies this year and so did a few other classes and I thought I would share this beautiful picture that the Grade 1 French Immersion teacher took with my Samsung Galaxy 4 phone...it still blows me away.
