New additions to my Must Have Teacher forms

When I create something for me to use in the classroom, I usually end up revamping it after a year or so as there are always little things that either bothered me about it or just didn't work for me.  This past year was no different in that I am always trying to make my job a little more efficient with everyday teacher tasks/duties.  One thing I'm really trying to become more efficient with is my data collection and assessment binders with the notes/data I collect on my students and for it to be easy to use.  So I made a few new forms/recording sheets this year that I used in the classroom and have now made some minor adjustments to those and have added them to my MUST Have Teacher Forms in my TPT store.

Here are a few things I have added:

For my reading and writing workshop, I created simple blank calendars to write my student's names who I needed to see which allowed me to keep track on who I saw.  I also made some new covers with some new backgrounds which is always fun to change those up.

I created some quick concept of print observation sheets that I could keep on a clip board and quickly write a student's name and the date down when I saw that student had shown that concept.

I created some a few different types of running record data collection recording sheets to keep my student's reading levels.

I created some quick strategies good readers use observation sheets that I could keep on a clip board and quickly write a student's name and the date down when I saw that student using that strategy.

I always try to have an individual recording sheet on each student to make notes on their progress.  This one is for reading strategies.

I created some quick listening and speaking observation sheets that I could keep on a clip board and quickly write a student's name and the date down when I saw that student using that strategy.

I  use these sheets at the beginning of the year to keep a daily track of my observations on
how the students are adjusting to big school.

I  always try to leave a detailed plan for my substitute along with an Overview of my classroom.  I have added my overview to give you an idea or starting point for your own letter to the substitute.  I also started using my mimio this year so I have to create a type of cheat sheet for any substitute that hadn't used a mimio and had no clue on how to calibrate it to start using it.
