Blank Game Boards

Every year, no matter what grade level I am teaching, I end the year with the students making a game they can play at school and then take it home to play with their family.   And every year it seems I am scrambling to put the materials together for the students.   I have found the younger students really need something concrete they can use.   I came up with these pre-made template.   I made templates without spinners, with different types of spinners and with places for cards.   I have all the templates in a binder in clear plastic protectors and I get the students to pick which template they want the day before we do the activity so I can have the templates ready for the kids.   I also have pre-made squares with various game standards such as “Miss a turn” and Go back 2 spaces” the kids can cut out and glue on the squares they want.   There are also blank squares they can print on to customize their game.   I also give the students a template to help with the writing of their direc

Spaces in writing - Spaceman

Here are my spacemen that I made to help the students ensure proper spacing between words when writing.  You will need Avery 8196 labels for spaceman. I printed the labels out, stuck them onto a tongue depressor and put clear tape over the label so it would last.
