Again and again my french immersion teacher counterparts in primary are constantly telling me they struggle to find resources they can use in their classroom.  So I am on a mission that if I have created something for my classroom, I will also create it for them to use in their classroom.  So here are my ordinal games but for a french immersion classroom. Last March I created my Geometry fans that would be an assessment tool for me and just geometry fun for the kids.  My students LOVED using the fans with each other and at math centers.  So this year I have come up with number sense fans with a variety of numbers, dice and base 10 materials on each fan.  I am very excited to use this resource all year in my classroom.  I created small and bigger fans this year too.   This resource has been developed as a teaching tool and resource you and your students can use together or separately. These fans would be a great way to build number sense and operation sense with your students.  Students can use these fans as a reference when working on their math or at centres or with a partner. The fans are a great assessment tool for the teacher to quickly assess each student’s knowledge of number sense or operation sense. I am always looking for activities to add to my math tubs/centers and I find flip books work really well. I have created nine flip books: 4 addition flip books, 4 subtraction flip books and 1 addition/subtraction flip book.  I have created books with both words and symbols.  The following describes each book: Flip Books Two-sided Counters Addition – Give the students 10 two-sided counters in a cup.  Have the students first predict how many yellow and how many red will appear once they spill the counters.  The kids always need to predict first.  Then have them shake the cup and spill the counters.  They colour in their results and write the addition sentence. Unifix Cubes Addition – Give the students 2 towers of six unifix cubes and one die.  Have the students roll the die once and colour that many unifix in the flip book (they can show on one of their towers too).  Then have them roll a second time and colour in that many unifix in the flip book (they can show that roll on th
