Morning Calendar Work for French Immersion

I still work in a dual track school with English and French Immersion programs (I teach English) and some of my colleagues on the French side really liked my Morning Calendar routine/duotang (for a refresher on my Morning Calendar routine go to  http://primaryflynn.blogspot.ca/search/label/Morning%20Calendar%20Work ).  This year I worked on creating the same Morning Calendar that I use but in French.  And it is now complete.  I like to create things that last for a bit so my Morning Calendar is always for 4 years up to a leap year so I don't forget the leap year.   I have now add the Morning Calendar for French Immersion in my TPT store at the following link: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Morning-Calendar-Work-for-French-Immersion-2633788 Enjoy! Center Activities for French Immersion Monthly Calendar Words

As I was creating sight word centers for my classroom, I called up one of the French Immersion Primary teacher’s and asked if she wanted me to create almost the same centers with the calendar words they use.  She said yes and was excited at the prospect of having a few more activities the students could do to learn their monthly words. I had to adjust the activities a little for the french words as most of the words had indefinite articles such as “le, la, un, une”. 1 - d échiffrer le mot In my classroom, I introduce 4 or 3 sight words per week. With each of the French monthly calendar words, I have tried to divide them up so there are either 5 or 4 words per week.  This activity includes: - Posters with sight words on them with fun border - 5 different recording sheets you can choose from - Sheets with the monthly calendar words that students use for reference at the centers (you can double-side and laminate these) (one with pictures & one without picture

French Immersion Ordinal Board Games

You can find the French Immersion Ordinal Board Games in my TPT store at the following link:   http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/French-Immersion-Ordinal-Board-Games Enjoy! Kemble :-)

Helping out my French Immersion teachers

Image
I have mentioned that I teach at a dual track school which means there is English and French Immersion classes from Primary to Grade 6.  As you can tell I love creating different printables for the classroom that I can use every year.  I love the 2 primary french immersion teachers who teach with me and I love sharing because as teachers we should be sharing ideas and materials/resources.  Every time I show them something, they always say "I wish we had that in French."  So, my goal is that wherever possible with anything I make, I will translate it into french so they can use it.   So here is a French Immersion J’ai et Qui a with shapes and colours all in french.  I have created 4 sets of cards for your students’ fun!  The first deck has a mix of circles, triangles, squares and rectangles with different colours for each shape.  The second deck has a mix of circles, triangles, squares, rectangles and hexagons with different colours for each shape.  The third deck has a mi
