Apps to Help Keep Me Organized

Image
Here are a few Apps that I love using in the classroom to help keep me organized. 1 -  Google Keep  You can get  Google Keep  on your tablet and on your  computer .  Here is a screen shot from my computer.   All the notes sync up so I can get them anytime I want from any one of my devices. 2 -  S Note for Samsung When I want to take notes at a staff meeting, a parent meeting or notes on a specific student, I use the S Note for Samsung.  Each of my notes are organized for me and I can add to them anytime.   3 - Google Calendar What I love about Google Calendar is that I don't have to have just one calendar, I can have many calendars for different things such as a class calendar, a personal calendar and a school calendar.  I can add tasks to the calendars and events with reminders.  If you are using Google Apps for Education then you can make appointment slots which are perfect for parent-teacher conferences.   4 - Remind

Here are a few things I have added: For my reading and writing workshop, I created simple blank calendars to write my student's names who I needed to see which allowed me to keep track on who I saw.  I also made some new covers with some new backgrounds which is always

I cannot believe how fast this past school year has gone.  I was barely on this blog as I had switched schools and I feel like one of my little primaries starting big school...I'm not to sure how things are done and where things are so this year was a year of learning about all the great things my new school does.  Our winter was brutal and didn't really start until January and then boy did it hit us and kept hitting us.  Here are a few pictures from a storm we had that basically shut the city down for a few days. I had an incredible year with an incredible staff.  I LOVED my classroom space.  Here are some pictures from last August when I went in to set up the classroom. \ And as every teacher knows, the end of the year is pack your classroom up once again.  This y
