My Number Monster Book Numbers 1 to 10 Google Slides for Online Learning

Image
My students love doing this booklet on paper.  But when we had to go to online learning, I wanted to try to recreate this as much as I could.  My students draw their number monster on paper but also did one on Google Slides. When I introduce a number, my students do a number monster to that number.   For example, if I have introduced the number 2, their number 2 monster has to have 2 eyes, 2 noses, 2 mouths, 2 ears, 2 arms and 2 legs.   By the end of the year, they will have number monsters from 1 to 10. I have created number monster slides for the numbers 1 to 10.  I have created 3 sets: black and white monsters, coloured in monsters and faux fur coloured in monsters.  You can pick which ones you will assign.  I have also included slides with different eyes, mouths, noses, ears, arms and legs. I have included some on the slides but if you want to put different ones you can. You can find this package in my TPT shop at the following link: My Number Monster Book Numbers 1 to 10 E

New Booklets for Zero the Hero Packages

Image
Hi everyone, I have created an additional booklet to go with my Zero the Hero packages. There is a type of pattern to the booklets in that each activity the students do are almost the same but showing an additional 10.  I created it like Zero the Hero was talking with the kids through the words in the booklets and tried to make it rhyme just for fun.  These booklets are something the students can take home to show their parents what they know about zero and place value and number sense. You can find the new booklets in my TPT store at the following links: Zero the Hero 10th Day  Zero the Hero 20th Day Zero the Hero 30th Day Zero the Hero 40th Day Zero the Hero 50th Day Zero the Hero 60th Day Zero the Hero 70th Day Zero the Hero 80th Day Zero the Hero 90th Day Zero the Hero 100th Day And if you wish to purchase all the videos, activities and the booklets, go to Zero the Hero 10th-100th Day Videos Package Enjoy! Addition Game with Dominoes

This was a fun activity the kids loved!!  All my students really loved learning how to add and I wanted to come up with a fun activity where they were adding and moving at the same time. A few years ago, I purchased a bunch of foam dominoes from Dollarama.  I put magnetic tape on some of them so I can use them on the board when I teach and the kids can use them during centers or free time.  The kids love using them so I thought they would be great for this addition activity.   Each student gets a foam dominoe and has to find another student.  They put their dominoes together and the student with the higher number goes first.  He/she will have to say the addition sentence and give the answer.  The other student will tell him/her if he/she is correct.   Then they would turn their dominoes to the other side and put those sides together.  Now it is the other student’s turn to say the addition sentence and the answer and the student who went first would tell him/her if the ans
