I know all of us strive to do a better job at organizing ourselves. I feel I am getting better a little bit every year. And when I think I have something that helped me stay organized, I always try to find a way to improve it or revise it. So I have revised and added to my Must Have Teacher Forms for my classroom. With some of my forms, I put together 2 books that I always carry back and forth from home and school. I used plastic dividers from the dollar store to divide the sections and then bound the 2 books. This first one has 4 different sections: my to do list of things I need to do or finish, my students information, my outcome checklists and a record of my photocopying. My second book also has 4 different sections: my Parent Communication log sheets, my record of notes sent home, students I have spoken to and the reason and my student observations.
